International Parents' Celebratory Afternoon Tea

It was a great privilege for me to host our International Parents at my home for a celebratory afternoon tea today.   Our numbers have doubled this year and we are continuing to welcome new families to the group.  Today, there were fourteen adults and six preschoolers.

We have much to be proud of as a group. This year we have contributed to the wider life of the school through a significant contribution to International Week and our International Cafe at the school fair.  As well, we have met to discuss supporting our children's language, culture and learning in general.  We have had lots of fun and formed valuable friendships.

A huge thank you from me to all of you have contributed and supported the International and ESOL programmes this year.  I appreciate each and every one of you! :)

Junior Athletics

Today our Junior Team held their annual Sports Day.  Students participated in fun race events such as an obstacle course and gumboot throw.

Lots of fun was had by everyone, and we enjoyed the support of many family members and friends.

All the fun of the fair!

Once again our amazing group of International Parents came together to run a very successful International Cafe at our school fair.  Special thanks to Sharon for coordinating our efforts.

Let's go gardening

Garden club includes children from Year 4 and 5 and meets every Friday lunchtime.  Here are some of our students getting involved in weeding and planting.

We are all looking forward to harvest time - yum!

Band perform at the Light Party

Our amazing band performed in front of a large audience at the Light Party, which is a community event organised by a local church.

Don't they look great?

Making a cup

Sean has made a paper cup.  It even holds one drink of water!
